Keene Board of Education Special Meeting
Wayne Woolridge, SAU 29 Co-Superintendent, will summarize the work of the Elementary Ad Hoc Advisory Committee over the past year which led up to its recommendation in June 2011 to the Board (and the Board’s subsequent endorsement of that recommendation in August 2011) that Keene close one of its elementary schools and that the remaining four be structured as follows:
• One school would house a preschool through first grade
• A second school would house kindergarten through first grade
• A third school would have grades 2 through 5
• A fourth school would have grades 2 through 5.
Mr. Woolridge will then recommend to the Board which school to close, and how grade assignments in the remaining four schools will change.
If you can't make the meeting, you can watch Live on Cheshire TV, Channel 8.
